Jun Pyo who started off as an obnoxious much-hated guy eventually turn into a lovable man who loves and protect Jan Di. This is one girl who’s not afraid to show her many facial expressions. She’s innocent, strong and will stop at nothing to fight the rights of her own and others. I felt in love with Jan Di from the very first episode. Spent most of my free times watching the remaining 21 episodes. What I know next is I was crazily searching for the online version. The answer is YES! YES! YES! I watched the first 4 episodes in the Saturday re-run. That got me into thinking, is BOF that good? As I watched more and more K-dramas, I realized that many romantic dramas are ‘always’ compared to Boys Over Flowers (BOF). I did watched a few which I choose carefully but not that crazeeeee yet.
Moreover I wasn’t really into Korean dramas at that time. Well for one, the leading lady and namja (men) didn’t manage to capture my attention (from the poster cover). I vaguely heard about it and even saw the poster in some sites but the thought of watching it was never in my mind. This drama was first broadcasted in early January of 2009. Hahahaīoys Over Flowers (꽃보다 남자/Kkotboda Namja) was the name of the Korean drama. Suddenly CityVille seems not so important anymore. But one that is so good that it make me stop what I’m doing and just concentrate 100% on it. My peaceful world was turned upside down recently. Beware: Long post ahead and many eye-candy photos.
